Chief Justice Maya of South Africa gave the 8th Scarman Lecture on 28th November 2025 at the Ashworth Centre, Lincoln’s Inn.

Chief Justice Maya spoke about the development of the legal system in South Africa and the challenges of AI and climate change for courts.
