commonhold

The Government has today published a draft Commonhold and Leasehold Reform bill. The bill aims to bring forward reforms designed to reinvigorate and strengthen the commonhold and leasehold framework.

We welcome the proposed implementation of recommendations we made in our work on Commonhold and Termination of Tenancies. We look forward to following the progress of the Government’s wide-ranging draft bill on Commonhold and Leasehold Reform.
Professor Lisa Webley, Commissioner for Property, Family and Trust Law

Further details on the bill are available, as well as the Law Commission’s report on Termination of Tenancies.
